It was a fun blending of chance encounters and previous friendships that coalesced around our team leader, Cindy Scholz. Chris and Cindy have been friends for more than 10 years, and she brought him into the real estate industry. Both Robert and Angel worked in close proximity to Cindy, and very quickly they began to collaborate on projects together. Building a team was the next obvious step.
HOW DO YOUR COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS BENEFIT YOUR CLIENTS?
Collaboration is the guiding principle of our team. All three of us working together allow our clients to benefit from our different skill sets. Our team manager, Brandon Abelard, helps to organize the many projects we are engaged in, which allows us to fully focus on our clients. We are fortunate that our skills overlap with our personal passions. Chris has a keen eye for design that is reflected in his beautiful staging and marketing. Robert has an encyclopedic knowledge of the city and an appreciation for analytics. Angel is a savvy negotiator and the closer for the team. We lean on each other’s strengths, and our combined efforts allow for optimal advertising and global exposure for listings. We create a personality for our clients’ properties and curate a lifestyle that is communicated through our marketing. We want to capture buyers’ emotions and pair that with smart pricing to achieve optimal sale price.
WHAT PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT(S) IS YOUR TEAM MOST PROUD OF?
We have recently repositioned a $700 million portfolio that in less than a year is now valued at more than $1 billion. We are most proud that the core of our business is our relationships with our individual clients, who continue to put their trust in us to advise them on their rentals, sales and investments. We have represented our clients from the penthouses of uptown and the lofts of downtown, to the brownstones of Brooklyn and the shores of the Hamptons.
